Workshop e continues to work on a variety of exciting projects and ideas.
Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom is a new experience in Foxton that places stories of Tangata Whenua and the Dutch community of New Zealand alongside those of an active local community. The centre has received great responses from local, national and international visitors since opening in November 2017.
Our renovation and refurbishment of the Waitangi Treaty House was also completed in November 2017. Visitation to the Treaty Grounds continues to rise based on both this and the museum projects that Workshop e has delivered. Our most recent project on the grounds was the addition of a refreshments kiosk adjacent to the Treaty House. The converted shipping container was designed to sit lightly in this environment – while providing all of the functionality required.
The WOW® World of Wearable Art™ international tour continues and will be taking in a European venue this year.
